Okay, I understand that with High-Ticket Affiliate Marketing you earn very high sales commissions, on the order of hundreds or thousands of dollars per single transaction.

But then, in reality, how much can a High-Ticket affiliate marketer earn?

As you can imagine, this is not the easiest question to answer.

However, there are some “ground rules” that allow us to budget and make predictions.

Fortunately, I have been able to confirm the numbers you will see by evaluating the performance of my personal site.

Let’s take a look at these figures.

Clearly, the numbers can vary (and by a lot) depending on these and other parameters. Any small percentage change, especially in the higher steps of the funnel, can generate huge changes in the earnings of those doing High-Ticket Affiliate Marketing.

Based on the estimate given earlier, with 1.000 visitors, on average, you can gain USD 1500. You, therefore, need about 2170 monthly visitors to get to USD 3260.

These numbers are based on a 30% click-through rate on affiliate links.

What does this mean?

That if 100 people enter your site, at least 30 will click on the affiliate links you have placed on the various pages, and they will end up on the vendor’s site to consider buying the product or service you have sponsored.

But what are the conditions for achieving such a click-through rate?

An example?

You can create a blog in the niche of luxury watches. But if in your content you only talk about the functioning of every tiny component of watch mechanisms, you will attract an audience more interested in the theoretical aspects than in the actual purchase of a watch.

Maybe your blog will be appreciated by true watch mechanics enthusiasts, but few of them will probably be interested in buying the watches you are trying to promote. Their purpose when they found your blog was different.

What kind of content do I need to create to make money in High-Ticket Affiliate Marketing?

The content that performs best in High-Ticket Affiliate Marketing are list-posts, comparisons, reviews and buying guides.

This is the content that intercepts potential customers when they have already decided they want to buy the product-service in that niche and are looking for the best options and the latest information to make the purchase.

With content like this you can likely achieve a 30% click-through rate on affiliate links.

About 80% of the content published is transactional, with a preference for Top10 (list posts), and with it, I manage to generate a CTR of 33% on average.

Once users have passed by your affiliate link and landed on the marketer’s site with serious intent to buy, you need to consider how many of them will then end up actually doing so.

The general industry consensus reports conversion rates between 0. 5% and 3%. In the case of High-Ticket products, it is necessary to stay on the low end of the spectrum. It is a good rule of thumb to consider an average conversion rate of 1%.

Some products may convert better than others, all things being equal.

Some significantly worse.

However, whether a product converts better or worse is not the only factor to consider for one’s strategy.

In fact, the final piece is the High-Ticket commission generated.

If a product converts at 2%, and has a commission of USD 500, with 100 visitors you generate USD 1000.

If a product converts at 1%, so half, but has a commission of USD 1200, with 100 visitors you generate precisely USD 1200, so more than the product that converts more.

These are all considerations that need to be made and that is why you need to track and calculate everything.
